Materials Researcher | PhD Student | Expert in Energy Harvesting and Sustainable Materials
I am materials researcher and currently PhD student in Doctoral Program for Nanotechnologies and Nanoscience at Nova Universidade
de Lisboa. My research background involves specializing in Energy Harvesting, Polymer Chemistry, Polymer Electronics, Triboelectricity,
and Sustainable Materials. I hold an Integrated Master's degree in Engineering of Micro and Nanotechnologies from Universidade
Nova de Lisboa, having graduated in the academic year of 2019. In between my Masters and PhD I have worked as a research fellow
at CENIMAT|i3N working under several different the projects related to cellulose based electronics and sustainable processes.
My expertise spans a wide range of chemical (Raman, FTIR, SEM, EDS) and electrical (Hall effect; Potentiostatic Analysis,
Semi-conductor analyzer) analysis characterization techniques of organic polymers and cellulose based materials. I have also
gathered competencies in prototype design and microcontroller programming for incorporation with IoT technologies. My work
has been presented both oraly and in poster format in several national and international conferences, having won a best accepted
speaker award at InnoLAE 2023.
